The premise of the film is simple: Charlie Sheen stars as Tom Cruise as Maverick, except instead of an F-14, he has an MP-5 and a golf cart. There is a group of terrorists with arrows and we have to kill these guys like yesterday. But the only way we can do this is if Michael Bean has sex with a sympathetic terrorist - I mean a journalist. After the boning, everyone goes on vacation to the Mediterranean and shoots dudes, then chases a car, and goes swimming. Complete it.
Well, that's not really a plot. Well...that's pretty close. Biehn and Sheen are two lieutenants leading a SEAL team on a mission to rescue two Navy pilots who have been shot down and captured by bad guys. During this mission, Sheehan discovered that the boys had many Stinger missiles. They try to blow up the cache but fail, and when they return to America, they find that the man they thought was another prisoner is a bad guy, begging them to leave him alone. From there, the SEALs begin a series of missions to hunt down the civilian and recover the Stinger missile. Meanwhile, Lieutenant Curran (Bean) decides to talk to Claire, a half-Lebanese journalist who sympathizes with the terrorists, or understands why they are fighting. Claire initially refuses to reveal what she knows, but when the terrorists use one of the Stingers to shoot down a civilian plane, she gives up and helps the SEALs search for the weapons. At the film's climax, SEALs infiltrate Beirut to find missiles and take out terrorist leaders.
Pros: There is a lot of action in the film, and it tries to show how the SEALs use different tactics to achieve their goals. There is a HALO jump, a cruise ship ride with a lift, and a water drop via helicopter and inflatable ride. You're not sure how they set up the target in the first mission, but the video makes it clear that the SEALs are trained to get there by any means imaginable, which I think is one of the coolest things about the movie. I also like to try to change their tools and equipment depending on the job; for example, when the SEALs enter Beirut, they wear camouflage uniforms similar to the local ones and carry AK rifles - two blonde members of the team Wear hoods to hide. their distinctive Caucasian hair color. A small detail like this shows me that someone put some thought into the film. The tutorial is stupid, but the "Killing Chamber" series is the best.

Also, Bill Paxton plays Dane, aka "God," the team's sniper on Barrett's .50 cal - which is pretty sweet. I don't know, but I wonder if this is Barrett's first appearance in a movie? The "Cobra Assault Cannon" in Robocop is an example of Barrett, but it is clear in the film what the weapon is.
Cons: Charlie Sheen's character is obviously a freak with a lot of talent and potential, but he lets his "need for speed" and quickness to fight outweigh the consequences of his actions. I'm sure someone like him exists in some way, but I feel that his actions will take him out of the team very quickly, especially since he is a senior and needs to know and establish a high level of professionalism. Beyond that, I found that the overwhelming need for Curran and Claire to somehow fall in love and be driven together weakened her ability to bond with them. Why did their relationship have to be sexual? This seriously damages the credibility of his character, and makes it seem like he's dropping more because of his growing relationship with Curran, not because he wants to stop terrorists from shooting jumbo jets out of the sky.
The Ugly: Getting Navy SEALs to play golf after work. true? Killing the only black person in the group and moaning again... of course he's the only one of them who seems to have any kind of long-term relationship.
