Mil Thunder 5 - MIL, Inc. The Thunder 5 is a double action designed to fire .410-bore and .45 Colt revolver cartridges.
The Thunder 5 is a large revolver, measuring nine inches wide and weighing 48 ounces, although it only has a two-inch snubnose barrel. The Thunder 5 is chambered in 3-inch (76 mm) .410 rifle cartridges and .45 Colt cartridges. While barrel-fired, the Thunder 5 is not considered a short-barreled rifle under US federal law, but is limited by California law. In 1994 a variation was produced in .45/70 Governmt which is legal in California.

It is equipped with Pachmayr production equipment and is available in matte or polished metal with a fixed eye. Unusual for a two-step switch, the Thunder 5 has a manual safety lever.

She appeared in several contemporary films such as Robocop 3 (1993), Black Dog (1998), and Three Kings (1999); But otherwise little interest was generated and it closed in 1999. After its discontinuation, the Thunder 5 became a collector's item.
